Die Erstausgabe dieses Werkes erschien 1981 parallel zum Burg/Rau im Kraftfahrzeugtechnischem Verlag, München. Die Neuauflage bei Eurotax im Jahre 1994 ist nur geringfügig überarbeitet und damit zwischenzeitlich veraltet.

Die Formel zum schiefen Wurf des Zweiradfahrers auf Seite 347 der Erstausgabe ist unnötig kompliziert geschrieben. Mit
