Es wird u.a. die mittlere Vollverzögerung (MFDD) definiert, also die mittlere Vollverzögerung im Bereich (0,8 ... 0,1) ⋅ v₀. Für v in km/h berechnet sich mit MFDD in m/s² wie folgt:
