Der Gurt gehört zwar schon seit mehr als 50 Jahren zur Sicherheitsausrüstung von Pkw, wird aber offensichtlich immer noch nicht von allen Insassen angelegt. Auf dieses Potenzial weist der Autor mit einigen Fakten und persönlichen Eindrücken hin. Es ist zu untersuchen, warum sich auch heute noch Menschen unnötig gefährden und wie man die Gurtanlegequote noch weiter steigern kann.
