Diagnosing problems with the passenger car clutch system
To diagnose on passenger car systems professionally, detailed knowledge of the component parts and correlation between them is necessary. In order to asess the related failures you have to distinguish between the five complaints:
- Clutch grabbing
- Clutch slipping
- Clutch not clearing (drag)
- Clutch noises
- Clutch heavy pedal operation

Inhaltsangabe
Der auf zwei Hefte aufgeteilte Artikel gibt Hinweise zur Beurteilung von Schäden oder Beanstandungen an Kraftfahrzeugschaltkupplungen. Es wird unterschieden zwischen folgenden Beanstandungsgründen: Kupplung rupft, rutscht, trennt nicht, macht Geräusche und Kupplung ist schwergängig. Eine tabellarische Aufstellung zu den einzelnen Beanstandungsgründen hilft Ursache und Abhilfe einzugrenzen. Ein bebilderter Schadenkatalog ist dem Artikel beigefügt und ist für die Schadensbeurteilung sehr hilfreich.
