Version 10.1

Lt. Hersteller-Website weist die Version 10.1 folgende features auf:

2D View:

  • DirectX vehicles and drawing elements can be displayed in the 2D window
  • Isometric views
  • Multiple view settings can be saved
  • 2D window uses z-coordinates of drawing elements (bitmaps are displayed at z=-0.1 m), drawing elements can be shown above or below the bitmap
  • Transparency slider bar for bitmap transparency
  • Arrow size for impact parameters can be specified
  • Printing scale and velocity scale can be hidden for printouts
  • Drawing coordinated system can be displayed

3D View:

  • Multiple camera positions can be saved inside the program
  • Transparency slider bar for background image transparency
  • Logo overlay
  • Friction cone is displayed as transparent cone
  • Camera optimization for backgroun image use
  • Slow motion setting in toolbar
  • DirectX objects can be edited directly (move, rotate, scale)
  • Relative camera position to multibody system can be specified
  • 3D Objects in 3DS (3D Studio), OBJ (Wavefront), DAE (Collada), STL (Stereo lithography), WRL (VRML), KMZ (Google Earth), LWO (Lightwave) format can be imported directly, these files are converted to DirectX files and xyz files

FE calculation module:

  • Transparency can be specified for parts
  • Full vehicle model for Geo Metro included
  • Diagrams can be calculated for each node also after the calculation has been performed
  • Only displacements or with stress and strain can be imported from previous calculations
  • Beam elements available
  • Lines/polylines can be saved in Gmsh GEO format directly

Collision Optimizer:

  • Impact optimization using the stiffness based model is possible now
  • Optimization for initial conditions (yaw movement, steering)
  • Advanced mode (variable, extended and configurable list of parameters can be selected)

Multibody simulation:

  • Driven wheels can be simulated (motors)
  • Line of sight to the multibody model can be specified
  • Updated models using the new joint types

Diagrams:

  • Additional diagrams for steering wheel angle and steering velocity
  • Current values are displayed in the diagram colors
  • Filtered data are copied and exported to the clipboard
  • Values window and diagram window can be displayed in the animation

General:

  • Context help is linked with the PDF manual
  • DirectX objects and bitmaps can be saved in a subdirectory next to the project file (optional)
  • DXF vehicles are centered laterally
  • Driver model can be specified per vehicle
  • Vehicles can be rotated around the point of impact ( Ctrl + Tow Truck tool)
  • Course angle can be modified by using Shift * + Tow Truck tool
  • Direct import of Google Sketchup files (also aerials including height information)
  • DirectX vehicles/objects added to display options toolbar
  • Transparency can be specified for all vehicle colors

Drawing program:

  • Transparency can be specified for all drawing elements
  • Triangular measurement tool with graphical input
  • Circles are used in the triangulation process
  • Parts of point clouds (laser scanner data) can be exported in xyz format
  • Z-coordinates of drawing elements can be moved onto slope polygons automatically
  • Max. triangulation distance can be specified
  • Drawing coordinate system can be selected (e.g. x-z-plane)

Datenbanken:

  • Updated databases
  • Access to the DSD crash test database (350 tests) via Internet - Recondata
  • Updated image database - Recondata
