Agreement concerning the adoption of uniform technical prescriptions for wheeled vehicles, equipment and parts which can be fitted and/or be used on wheeled vehicles and the conditions for reciprocal recognition of approvals granted on the basis of these prescriptions.
Es wird u.a. die mittlere Vollbremsverzögerung (MFDD - mean fully developed deceleration) definiert, also die mittlere Vollverzögerung bezogen auf den Weg im Bereich (0,8 ... 0,1) ⋅ v0. Für v in km/h berechnet sich mit MFDD in m/s2 wie folgt:

mit:
v0 = initial vehicle speed in km/h,
vb = vehicle speed at 0,8 v0 in km/h,
ve = vehicle speed at 0,1 v0 in km/h,
sb = distance travelled between v0 and vb in metres,
se = distance travelled between v0 and ve in metres.
