Es wird u.a. die mittlere Vollbremsverzögerung (MFDD - mean fully developed deceleration) definiert, also die mittlere Vollverzögerung im Bereich (0,8 ... 0,1) ⋅ v0. Für v in km/h berechnet sich mit MFDD in m/s2 wie folgt:
